me in the ER
So I'm not really ready to go into this.
But the full surround airbags on the Chevy Cruze are an amazing wonderful awesome thing.
A douche ran a light and drove away unscathed. Three other average people who were all doing the right thing ended up in the ER.
I will never know if the other guy turned out totally ok. He was going for CAT scans when we were discharged.
My Boss and I are good - just sprains, him ankle, me hand.
By about two hours in to the ER we were in the Boss' room and we started talking about how this was an inconvenience. What a delight! In a day that likely would have been surgery and life altering changes and very possibly death, became a day of inconvenience b/c of airbags and good reflexes.
like 45-50 miles an hour into a parked car. It was so fast.
I am SO THANKFUL.
I'm sure I'll get into details later - its too good a story not to tell. That's what I do, tell stories about the human condition. But I'm tired.
