Honestly, its a highlight of the year. We LOVE our tax guy. Ever year we talk about something totally amazing.
This year it was anime porn and japanese love pillows. Not kidding.
The guy is a riot, and brilliant at taxes for artists - he literally wrote the book.
While we waited in his office we got to comb through this amazing graphical information - I want this!
You can see the TINY dot that is the NEA - where I get most of my income from in a year through grants they give to states to then hand out locally. I also snapped the Dept of Ed.
From the wide shot you can clearly see that most of the budget is defense spending.
Interesting and much better at putting the whole thing in perspective.
Little Man went with Auntie and MB to the New England Aquarium on our membership while we taxed.
Then with picking them up and dropping off little man at the sitter my office hours for the day dwindled down to about two and a half hours as we were going to meet my boss from consulting gig for dinner.
In honor of the VO gig I got today (record on Wed scheduled, lets see if they change their mind this time!) for Pizzeria Uno's we went to the Uno's next to the Boss' hotel.
Little Man was in heaven! They had screens at the table to play with and he got to eat PIZZA! He also ordered our desserts on the screen at the table - it was really adorable and fun. It was good to see the Boss in a non worky setting. He is such a great guy and has good dad advice from his experiences with his kids. I'm really excited about our project. Though am not looking forward to him pulling apart what I wrote so far for the project, though his initial reactions were very positive to the drafts I sent Friday.
Then home and to bed. Fell asleep with little Man in the big bed after books. So nice to super snuggle with both my boys.
